The external carrier quote links below open in a new tab, where that carrier provides its own quote and enrollment experience.

Dental For Everyone is a shopping storefront, not an insurer. Its advertised portfolio is not a confirmed local plan list. Discount memberships are not insurance; verify the product type and benefits before choosing.

You are leaving Michiana Health Insurance for the selected carrier’s site. Plan availability, benefits, provider networks, rates, enrollment requirements, and eligibility vary by applicant, carrier, and location. Direct enrollment is handled by the selected carrier.

About Michiana Health Insurance

People you can turn to, year after year.

Founded in 2007, Michiana Health Insurance helps individuals, seniors and small groups understand coverage, enroll, and get ongoing support by email, phone or in person. We start with your needs, explore affordable options and build relationships that continue after enrollment.

Founder John David is a registered nurse and licensed insurance broker whose work includes Medicare education, individual health coverage and small-group benefits. Co-owner Christi Lynn is a licensed registered respiratory therapist with more than 15 years of critical-care experience. She joined the agency full time in 2017 and specializes in Medicare and Marketplace coverage. Their medical backgrounds help them understand questions about medications and access to providers.

Our team also includes agents Hannah Wilson, Jonathon Gouge and Hunter. Together, we make room for a real conversation about your options.

How to shop dental coverage

Compare the parts that change what you pay.

A lower premium can come with a waiting period, different network, deductible, annual maximum, or lower first-year coverage. We help you put those details side by side before you decide.

01

Start with your care

Tell us about your dentist, planned work, preventive care, and the trade-offs you are willing to make.

02

Read the plan details

Look at network access, waiting periods, deductibles, annual maximums, and what each category of care may pay.

03

Choose your route

Let us help compare options, or go directly to a carrier when you have already made your choice.

A useful coverage comparison

What to line up before enrolling.

Carrier pricing and benefits are personalized and can change. Compare the same practical details for each available plan, then confirm your price and eligibility in the carrier quote flow.

Monthly cost + fees

Ask whether there is an enrollment, policy, or monthly administrative fee in addition to the premium.

Year-one vs. later benefits

Some plans build toward fuller coverage or a higher annual maximum after the first year.

Waiting periods

Check preventive, basic, and major services separately. “No wait” does not necessarily mean coverage begins immediately.

Your dentist & network

Confirm whether your provider participates and how out-of-network care changes your share of the cost.

Dental coverage questions

A few useful things to know first.

Is dental insurance the same as a dental discount plan?

No. Dental insurance generally has a premium, covered-service rules, benefit limits, and carrier terms. A dental discount plan is not insurance; it generally offers negotiated discounts when you use participating providers. We can help you understand which category you are reviewing.

Will dental insurance cover everything right away?

Not necessarily. Coverage may differ by service category and plan. Check waiting periods, deductibles, annual maximums, provider participation, and how preventive, basic, and major services are handled before enrolling.

Can my employer offer group dental coverage?

Often, yes. Group dental options can be evaluated alongside medical benefits and employee needs. Ask us for a group-benefits conversation rather than assuming an individual plan and a group plan work the same way.
